The word says that we are overcome by our testimony. It seems like in the past couple of months, the cliche "one step forward, two steps back" has been the reality. I have had a lot of up and downs to take place. I recently earned my National Board certification, with pay raise, only to have my wife go out on bedrest. I am currently awating the arrival of my third child, but I cannot stay in my house because I do not have carpeting.
It would seem that I should stress or ponder what to do, but I realized that some things are like they are in order for me to grow, and get where God has for me to be... oh yeah, the baby is named Janae ... still don't get it... "God is gracious".... ok, it's like this. (2 Cor 12:9) Paul asked God three times to remove his infirmity, but he had to come to the realization that God's favor is what he needed most in his life. So even as I am currently where I am in the midst of things, I know that it's all working for my good (Romans 8:28). Whenever you're feeling like everything is about to be lost, don't forget Janae... What a very good message. Dont you worry life is like that. Sometimes happy and sometimes sad. Our only hope is just trust to God everything right.
